DIYA HOLISTIC LIFE CARE
Diya Holistic Life Care is excited to partner with Pause in "A Movement for a Moment"
in providing collaborative and comprehensive care.
The mission statement behind Diya Holistic Life Care, a 501(c)(3) non-profit headquartered in Virginia Beach, Virginia, is “commitment to maximizing a person’s potential for health, love, joy & happiness.” Comprehensive services from birth (actually prenatal care) to end of life come through the coaching modality. Providing alternative methods to healing are also examined where an individual is able to design a plan to meet their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs. Health Coaching, Professional Coaching, Nutrition Coaching, Cancer Coaching, and End of Life Coaching are examples of modalities provided. Energy work through providing guided meditations, simple yoga postures and breathwork as well as Reiki and other modalities are also part of the comprehensive and holistic modality for healing. Serving underprivileged, underserved, and underrepresented populations aligns to the core of Diya Holistic Life Care. Accessibility, advocacy, and education align with Pause Inc. and are aligned to provide individual, community, and global change.
Arti Kumar-Jain, Executive Director of Diya Holistic Life Care finds the mission to be simple. To serve with love, kindness, and compassion and to meet the client where they are. Offer services and modalities that may have never been thought as part of accessibility to healing. To welcome collaborative experiences to learn and engage with to make systemic and lasting changes that allow for future generations to continue to build on health and wellness for all.
Arti has been in mental health and in education for over 20 years. Diya Holistic Life Care is the culmination of all of her life’s experiences and those of her family and ancestors. The story she holds true is that through love-- anything can happen especially healing. She was fortunate enough to breathe legacy through her parents who loved her so unconditionally they passed down the mission and work to heal others through the heavens above. She felt her hand being held in the most difficult of times and also in life’s transitions and wants to give back that gift through the act of service. She strives to be an earthly angel as she is surrounded by so many. Her goal is to provide collaborative, comprehensive care in a loving way. A quote that she believes summarizes how she feels
“It’s no secret that I like to get to know people- and not just the outside stuff of their lives. I like to understand the meaning of who people are and what they’re saying to me.”
